Join us on Thursdays from 10AM —11AM for VBCC’s interactive program for children (Infants-Pre-K) and their parents or caregivers. We encourage members to bring friends with little ones who are looking to create connections for themselves and their little ones. Each meeting will have 30 minutes of music, movement and rhymes followed by 30 minutes of snack, play and fellowship!
The Names of God and 1 & 2 Thessalonians: Living in the End Times Together
During our first 4 weeks, January 15 – February 5, we will welcome Bible teacher Hap Struthers as he leads us in a study of the names of God.
Starting on February 12, we will transition to a study of 1 & 2 Thessalonians: Living in the End Times by John Stott.

“What is the Bible? How do I know what it really says? Is it really God’s Word, and what does that mean?” We will discuss these questions and more in the upcoming Sunday School class “Hermeneutics: How to Read the Bible”. In this six-week seminar, we will dive deep into principles of Bible study, literary design, and the inductive method.

To raise support for our Youth Summer Mission Trip, we’re having a Chili Carnival lunch in the gym after the 10:30 service on February 23rd! All donations will go towards the mission trip! In this seminar, we will learn step-by-step how to begin a private life of prayer in fellowship with our heavenly Father. Parents of children in kindergarten - 5th grade, join us in the gym after you check your child into Sunday School for breakfast. This will be a time for fellowship and to pray with other parents. January is SERVE Month! This is an opportunity to celebrate the many ways God is working through VBCC and to join in on the work. Sunday, January 26 is Commitment Sunday, where we will invite our members and fellowship to make a new or renewed commitment to serve with VBCC! Each week in the service, we will highlight different volunteers and ministries, and there will also be a Ministry Fair on Sunday, January 19 after both services in the Porch! Please pray and consider how you might serve with VBCC this 2025!

Join us for our Thanksgiving Family Services. There will be no Youth or Children’s Sunday School and no SPLASH. Nursery classes will be available for infants thru pre-k.
Come sing with our choir! The choir will be rehearsing on November 14, December 5 and December 19 from 6:30-8:30PM in preparation for leading worship during our Christmas Eve services. VBCC wants to offer a wonderful opportunity to fathers and sons (in 1st - 5th grades) to attend a retreat designed just for them. The retreat will be at Camp Willow Springs, a Christian camp and retreat center located on beautiful Lake Gaston near Littleton, NC. The Father & Son Retreat will begin on Friday evening and end on Sunday. It will include times of family worship, great food, fun recreation (including archery, canoeing, red shark, swimming pool, giant swing, jumping pillow, octo-ball, and more), and the Father/Son Olympics!

2 Peter and Jude: a Navpress LifeChange Bible Study Book
The early church had learned how to deal with persecution from outside the community, but they needed help defending themselves against those who would destroy their community from the inside. Differences within the community were not uncommon, but the church was facing those who purposely distorted the gospel for their own gain. Peter and Jude denounce these false teachers, encouraging their readers to stand firm in the faith, holding to the promise that Jesus would someday return.
Join us on Wednesday mornings as we study 2 Peter and Jude together. Teachers from our community will help us understand and apply the Scriptures, and we’ll also have time for fellowship, worship, and small group discussion.

Timothy Keller unlocks new insights into the life of Jesus Christ as he explores how Jesus came as a king, but a king who had to bear the greatest burden anyone ever has. There will be a Baptism Class Sunday, August 11 at 9:00AM downstairs in Room 5. All children and adults who are interested in being baptized are welcome to attend! In the class, we will discuss what baptism is, why it matters, and how we do baptisms at VBCC.
