One of our five core beliefs states that we will take Christ's message of grace to the lost and disconnected people in our community and to those parts of the world where the local church is weak or nonexistent, and we will use every available Christ-honoring means to pursue, reach and mature them.

Global Missions

VBCC has a rich history of engagement in global missions. We believe that God still appoints people to be sent out by the local church to the darkest corners of the world. This requires that our church never grows complacent in the scriptural mandates to go, to send, to pray, and to support. The Missions Leadership Team at VBCC longs to see a continued and renewed passion in these areas. We currently support 29 missionary singles or families serving in 15 countries.

The Bell People

In 2018 VBCC adopted an unreached people group in Southeast Asia known as the “Bell People." With a population between 2.5 and 4 million, only 0.07% are known to follow Christ. In the early stages of this 10-year effort, we are working with missionaries and locals on the ground to determine how VBCC can best support the mission to share the good news of Jesus with these people. This effort will include earnest prayer and short-term trips, but our hope is to send out long-term missionaries that can invest deeply with these people that are far from God.

Local Missions

Much of our local outreach comes in the form of followers of Christ from our VBCC fellowship sharing the gospel where they live, work, study, and play. While outreach programs are important, our philosophy is that the church of Jesus Christ should be equipped and empowered to reach our local community organically. Our people, and not a program, are our most important local outreach.

PiN Ministries

PiN reaches out to the homeless of our area who come for breakfast followed by a recovery meeting. Saturday mornings various churches help cook a pancake breakfast and prepare lunches. Come to serve at Beach Pentecostal Church by 6:45AM. The event runs from 6:45AM—10:00AM but if you can’t help the entire time, come out for whatever time you can give and be blessed to be a blessing.
